Andy Adsit, Leader Name of group: Not Ready for Prime Time Group focus: Men’s group or couples 35-55 Location/Frequency & Time: TBD/Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. This group will either be for men or couples 35-55 depending on interest. Since this is a new group, we will start with the Beginnings study recommended by ChristCare and then continue with group selected topics. Pat & Champ Aldridge & Carolyn Burnam, Leaders Name of group: TBD Group focus: Retirees Location/Frequency & Time: At the home of Pat & Champ (check your church directory)/1st and last Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Name of group: ChristCare for Retirees This is a group that supports each other physically, mentally, and spiritually. We frequently reach out to the community with service projects, Bible studies, and donations. Our most recent project took place at the Safe House which entailed a large renovation. We also collect funds in a Blessing Jar and when it reaches $100, we donate the funds to the needy. Van & Joan Bareither, Leaders Name of group: TBD Group focus: Primarily composed of couples with Grandchildren and the pain of aging parents, relatives, and close friends. Location/Frequency & Time: At the home of Joan & Van (check your church directory)/2nd Thursday at 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. We support one another in the daily challenges that face our members in their Christian walk in today’s world. Chris Dimes, Leader Name of group: TBD Group focus: Men interested in Golf or other sports. Location/Frequency & Time: Church (Room TBD/TBD at TBD (This will be determined according to interest.) This group is for men wishing to study God’s word for application in our world as husband, father, and all our responsibilities to family and our church. In addition, this group will grow together through fellowship on the golf course and other “male bonding” activities. Finally, this group will actively seek service opportunities such as church work days, youth programs, and ad hoc opportunities. Since this is a new group, we will start with the Beginnings study recommended by ChristCare and then continue with group selected topics. Dale & Jeannie Hawkins, Leaders Name of group: Crusaders Group focus: Everyone is welcome – mixed group. Location/Frequency & Time: Church library/Mondays at 7:00 p.m. We are a terrific, fun group and we have a lot of different viewpoints and opinions! We are working our way through the entire Bible. Eric & Tammy Jenkins, Leaders Name of group: TBD Group focus: Everyone is welcome – mixed group. Location/Frequency & Time: At the home of Eric & Tammy (check your church directory)/TBD (possibly Friday or Sunday evenings) at TBD. (This will be determined according to interest.) This is a group for parents of teens and/or upper elementary children. We hope to grow in our relationship with Christ, our children, and each other. Since this is a new group, we will start with the Beginnings study recommended by ChristCare and then continue with group. Barb Pirkle, Leader Name of group: TBD Group focus: Fellowship with fellow believers. Location/Frequency & Time: Church Cry Room/Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. Other information TBD. (awaiting additional information) Judy Van Gorder, Leader Name of group: Fluffy Ladies Group focus: Fellowship with fellow believers. Location/Frequency & Time: Church Bride’s Room/Mondays at 9:30 a.m. We strive for a balanced lifestyle through Bible study, prayer, Scripture reading and memorization. We encourage one another as we learn more about God’s word and His will for a healthier way of living. Judy considers herself a fellow struggler, not the resident leader. Location/Frequency & Time: TBD/TBD (Possibly Saturday mornings at TBD This will be a mixed group of people interested in reading, fellowship and building their faith. Since this is a new group, we will start with the Beginnings study recommended by ChristCare and then continue with group selected topics. Carol Yeager, Leader Name of group: Carol Yeager’s ChristCare Group Group focus: Women, any age. Location/Frequency & Time: Church Cry Room/Mondays at Monday, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. This group consists of women from various ages and professions, single moms, grandmothers, school teachers, and the list goes on, who enjoy studying the Word of God. You will find the study friendly, slow-paced, and not intimidating. It is a nice Bible study mixed with prayer, devotions, and worship. The group’s outreach ministry is two-fold: one part being served is Mt Calvary Church and the other is our “Biscotti Fund” which is used to provide donations to various charities or missions. For Fellowship, the group goes out to eat on the 5th Monday of the month. Join us to become spiritually fed and refreshed!
